Welcome to our new actors!
On behalf on Aardvark Casting international, we wish to extend a warm welcome to all the new actors who joined our agency in Nairobi during our first-ever Registration Day in Westlands yesterday. Just as expected, a broad range of actors signed up, with a natural mix of promising babies, mums, dads and young people. The event in Westlands was just the first of a series of Registration Days lined up across Nairobi over the coming months. Beware of casting agencies that ask for a fee to join
The film industry does not work like this. We have heard of people paying over $2,000 in order to be to be the next Hannah Montana or next Hollywood star! This is very sad because our industry does not work like this. Our advice is that when you are looking for a casting or talent agency, you need to find out if they expect you to pay a fee up front. Casting agencies charge a booking or commission once the actor gets a job for their service to the actor so there is no need for them to make money like this.

Sydney Aardvarker to play Vagrant in "Venice"
Congratulations, to Aardvarker Hieu Phan who will be shooting the Australian Film "Venice" this week. Hieu Phan will be playing the role of a vagrant in the film. We look forward to seeing you on the big screen Hieu!
